Kristin R. Kelly
Kristin R. Kelly was born in Wilmington, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Kristin attended North Carolina Central University School of Law and graduated in 2008. During law school, Kristin was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, worked in the Office of the Governor, participated in the family law clinic and worked as a law clerk for a local family law firm in Durham, North Carolina. She was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2008.
Prior to coming to Tolin & Elam, PLLC, Kristin worked for Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc. in Winston-Salem as a Staff Attorney in the Family Law Unit. She is currently the Secretary of the Forsyth County Young Lawyers Division and is an active member of the Junior League of Winston-Salem.
Kristin's practice primarily focuses on family law issues including divorce, custody, equitable distribution, separation agreements, and child support. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in North Carolina as well as the federal courts in the Middle District of North Carolina.
Kristin is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, Forsyth County Bar Association, Forsyth County Young Lawyers Division and the North Carolina Bar Association.
